A bit of this and that...

I was just in Milwaukee for 3 days.  Over the course of those 3 days, I stopped at Alterra 5 times.  Something is wrong with this picture, especially given that I also have receipts from Zingermann's in Ann Arbor from on my way out of town, and Starbucks in Portage, Indiana from my way home. 

A vegetarian rueben sandwich is not as bad as it sounds.  Granted, it's not great (or corned beef), but it doesn't suck completely.

Our dog has solved her "dog breath" problem.  By eating the cap off a jar of peppermint essential oil.  Oddly enough, she ate enough of it so she smells like Christmas, but not enough for it to spill out on the carpet.  This is probably because she's freakin awesome.

And baby eyelashes from today.  Because I love them.  I'll blog more from this session later this week, but for now...

Having an older brother myself, I completely empathize.  :)

 
No worries though, as I did get a bunny-ear-free image (unlike my younger brother's wedding, where every photo of the bride and groom had bunny ears).

from this weekend.

With everything going on in the world these past few weeks, from the earthquake in Japan, to the protesting in Madison (where we lived for a while, and I still miss, but Ann Arbor is quickly filling that gap), to gas prices hitting almost $3.75 in some areas, it makes me think about just how fortunate we are, even when I'm once again prying a sock out of that damn dog's mouth. 

My thoughts go out to those affected by these current events, most specifically the earthquake/tsunami survivors, who put into prospective just how minor these others really are.

And photo-wise...from this weekend.  I had the good fortune to photograph this family Saturday, and it was truly a pleasure.  And the dog Bingo? That's his name-O.  Love.
